Wobbler of a performance

Strikeitlucky FC went down 2-1 on Monday night to a bunch of plums who need a slap.

The lads started well enough with Hudson and Bell creating a variety of chances but just couldn't seem to get the final ball right. Dempsey and Powell were trying to create in the centre but it just wasn't happening. The gaffer knew though that if they kept it up, a win was definitely on the cards. However, after a some chances went the other way and only stopped by a couple of good saves from Edgar, an edginess was visible, as the boys knew that a win was the least they should get.
The deadlock was broken when Kingston got through on goal and his shot was only part saved and trickled over the line.
That should have been it really but for some reason the tide turned in the second half and it wasn't long before tired legs all round started to show. Belcher and new signing Tony Markham had run their socks off in defence and couldn't have given any more.
However, Wobblers kept trying and eventually somehow scored. How? I couldn't really give a sh*t.
The game was almost won by the Luckies in the last few minutes as a throw to Dempsey was hit goalwards only for the stupid-looking-dumbass-smiling keeper somehow saved it, and then it go off for a goal kick. The boys knew then... it was one of THOSE games.

Horrifically, Wobblers got their 2nd goal in the dying seconds. It was the winner.
In all honesty, the opposition wanted it more and grew in confidence as the match went on.
Strikeitlucky looked tired and deflated. They need to bounce back next week against Maroon 5.
