SIL's win in low scoring affair

SIL's maintained their 100% record with a 3-1 victory over AC Abingdon. From kick-off the Luckies started the brightest by putting the pressure on their opponents early which led to the opening goal from Gary Hudson. The luckies continued to push forward in the first half but couldn't convert their chances. The score at halftime 1-0.
In the second half the Luckies continued to put pressure on their rivals which eventually led to the crucial second goal scored by Jamie Steptoe. Soon after Jamie got his second and SIL's third and put the Luckies in a comfortable position. With 5 minutes to go AC Abingdon started to pile on the pressure on the Luckies defence which got them a consolation goal.
With this victory the Luckies maintain pole position in Division 3 and are 3 points clear of The Star Inn who are SIL's next opponents.
