Strikeitlucky FC last night recorded their 2nd win of the new campaign, their best run so far!
In-form Steve Steptoe bagged two more goals, Matt Kingston got another and Gary Hudson got his first goal in a decade to give the boys a 4-2 win over and unimpressive Blackwell Boys.
The game was under control from the 1st minute and defeat was never on the cards. So relaxed were the home side that sloppy defending let in 2 goals which could be vital at the end of the season. However, a solid performance and good teamwork showed that the lads are up for the title this season.
The other good news was the return of the Gaffer to the front line. He came on with ten minutes left, shinned a few, pulled some blokes shirt, swore a lot and looked knackered after 5 minutes. It's like he never left!
It's looks like Powell with have selection problems next week with a full squad available. 'Made-up News' has been informed Powell has been in discussions with Rafa Benitez on how to tinker. And how to swap his team round.
